We had a very cozy stay in a heated cabin in Curry Village. Two full beds for $209 after tax. They gave us a voucher for a free medium pizza and it was legitimately fancy and delicious. The bathrooms were clean, there were many places to refill water and the location in the park is unbeatable. I would recommend skipping the breakfast and go to another spot on the valley. Peet’s coffee on site is good. We came in January for MLK weekend. I would never come here in the summertime because it’s probably a zoo, but I thought curry Village was excellent for the cost.

Stayed here with my brother for MLK weekend. We originally stayed in tent 278, however our tent lost power. After going to the front desk, they moved us to tent 279 and apologized. The front desk really saved our trip. The only other downside was the lack of thicker blankets. The heated tent was fine when the temperature was above freezing. Overnight once the temperature dropped below freezing, it was uncomfortably cold in the morning, even with the heater on full power. Overall for the price we paid, this has to be the most affordable way to stay inside Yosemite National Park. The restrooms are shared, but the mens restroom were always kept clean. The restrooms also had hot showers with shampoo. The last thing I want to add, is that there is limited to no cell service here. There is WiFi, but you have to go to the Lounge to use it. Connecting to the internet is a little confusing, because the password is based on the last name on the reservation and the tent number. Overall I would stay at Curry Village again. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Stayed the night of Labor Day after having done the Taft Point and Sentinel Dome hike across the valley. Reached Curry Village around 8:30pm and it was bustling with people. Had to drive around for a couple of minutes to find a parking spot, then walk around a bit to find the registration desk. Once there, the process was quick. They explained all the rules to us, and gave us our keys. Not allowed to leave any food, drinks, human-scented stuff in your vehicle, so have to pack all that out and carry it with you to your tent to put in the storage locker outside. Labor Day was the last day of the season that the tents weren't heated. There were bedding and blankets provided, but I felt the need to wear extra layers and warm socks to sleep. Took us a while to figure out how to get the light working inside the tent. The shared restroom was surprisingly clean. There's a gift shop, a pizza place, a grocery store, and a dining pavilion, all in the village. You need to be aware of the timings of each though. You get WiFi connectivity only in the registration and dining area. Cool views of the granite mountains when we got up in the morning. The place is so quiet that when people run the hand-dryer inside the washroom, you can hear it inside your tent. That unheated tent cost 195$ a night, so definitely over-priced, but such is the demand for staying in the Yosemite Valley.

Such a great location and helpful staff. They have some great eateries on site (although it would've been nice to have a few healthy options) and a shuttle that will take you just about anywhere in the valley. The gift shop/grocery store had just about everything you'd need. Guest lounge was comfortable although rustic and dated, and had wifi as long as you were a guest. Restrooms, at least for the women's, we're mostly clean and well maintained. The beds in the tents were kind of squeaky, but comfortable enough. Floors seemed kind of dirty... but it's better than housekeeping camp (except for the fact that you can't cook anywhere on site). Overall, you can't go wrong for being right in Yosemite Valley if you're not a big camper. It's not glamorous, but you're only in the tent to sleep anyway. I'd stay there again.

The Curry Village cabins are my favorite for comfort and privacy. We parked once and then walked to the Awanhee for dinner. The next day we were close to the Vernal Falls Mist trail. Staying in Yosemite feels life changing. It shifts my perspective. It makes me feel connected to the earth, all its beauty and to a greater spirit.

Being in the valley was breathtaking. The staff were very pleasant to work with. We stayed in a heated tent that was a little dusty, but I was glad to have. I wish I could've had my dog stay with me at night. So many people travel with their pets and frankly they're no more trouble than kids. I find most people are very responsible in picking up after them. I was there in November and food vendors had closed for the season, but the store was stocked fairly well. The hiking is fantastic.

First time going to Yosemite. Dec 27-Jan 2 Had the pleasure of staying at Curry Village in a heated yurt. The accommodations were beyond impressive. I would recommend bringing some extra bedding if you need more blankets in the winter. The staff at the front desk were so helpful, especially Cindy. It was great to meet her and have a great rapport making us feel totally set up.

Economical and Convenient. Tents are clean and good except the outside noise, there is quiet time from 10pm to 6am but during rest of the day it's too noisy (from neighbors). This location has good food options, groceries and gifts shops, also it's closest to main attraction. I highly recommend this place for a budget stay.
